You’re already a pro at how to host for the holidays, but now it’s time to check things off that ever-growing gift list.
To help you manage your list, we spoke with product designer Zoe Garred about our Holiday Gift Guide. It’s filled with our favorite seasonal trends, plus the best (and most affordable) gift ideas.
So whether you’re shopping for a doting parent, stylish sibling, elegant co-worker, or — treat yo’self — you, these stylish articles are sure to please.
Pro Tip: Want to ensure your gifts arrive in time for the holidays? Make sure your item has the ‘Delivery by Christmas’ banner on its product page.
Sheepskins add a warm, elegant touch to a space. Plus, when that person curls up against one or feels that silky throw under their fingertips they’ll think of how thoughtful you are. Win.
Shopping for someone who trends glam? Our sleek, sophisticated Lanna collection is the perfect choice. Balla, on the other hand, features natural textures that will add casual, cozy vibes to any home.
Zoe says a warm, 100% alpaca wool throw is perfect for someone on your list who really deserves to indulge. Maybe that person is you. 2017 is the year of self-care, after all.
“Alpaca wool is hypoallergenic, which means it’s very soft and not scratchy,” says Zoe. “It’s also lightweight but because of how dense and insulating the material is, it’s so warm.”
Our alpaca wool throws are handcrafted in Peru by a fair trade company that’s been doing it for two generations. They know their stuff.
Don’t let the tree have all the sparkle. Metallic accents like our Myria and Sabla collections are the best way to let the people in your life know they’re a treasure.
“This is definitely the season for bling,” says Zoe. Her go-to metallic during the holidays? Gold. Whether that be plates, planters, or pillows — gold brings that holiday shimmer.
Gold not your thing? No worries. Our articles come in variety of other sparkling shades such as silver, copper, nickel, or brass.
Velvet is a trend that just won’t quit – not that we’d want it to. Our affordable options let you give the gift of plush.
“I think velvet will be sticking around for quite awhile. We follow fashion, which often trickles down into home decor, and this year it seemed like there was more velvet than ever on the runways,” says Zoe.
“Our Lucca pillows are made from cotton velvet – a nice, natural material and feels so much better than synthetic-feeling velvets,” says Zoe. They also come in a convenient set of two — obviously, the gift that keeps giving.
“We also tried to choose colors that would all complement each other,” she explains. “Lately we’re really loving creating a tonal look by layering similar colors together like our Grass, Balsam, and Olive Green velvets.” Meaning no matter what set you choose, you can’t go wrong.
But for a foolproof holiday-ready combination try Claret Red and Balsam Green. “That would be a beautiful, sophisticated holiday look,” says Zoe. Though she says she wouldn’t say no to a pair of Pacific Blue Lucca pillows in her stocking this year. Hint taken.
